5-Time Grammy Winner, Yolanda Adams, thrills

It was indeed a great joy for me (Winsie-Ann) to share the stage with my friend and sister in the Lord, five-time Grammy Awardee Yolanda Adams, at the Queen’s Park Oval, last Sunday. My off-stage time of fun and fellowship with Yolanda was just as exciting.

I must hasten to say a very sincere “thank you” to the massive, historic audience for their overwhelming support during the grand opening performance, which I had the distinct honour of doing. I also express my deepest appreciation to my hard-working team of producers (both local and foreign), directors, musicians, dancers, dramatists, the Marcia Charles Dance Theatre, special effects engineers, the pyrotechnics, fireworks and aviation companies, Festive Balloons, the doves / pigeons handlers and every other person who contributed to the splendid team effort that made the great twenty-minute opening presentation.

Konsepts Promotions deserves special mention for their tremendous vision and courageous initiative, in this significant venture. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the media for their valuable, positive input and the general public for the remarkable support. The presence of dignitaries such as Government Ministers Joan Yuille Williams and Eulalie James; CoP Trevor Paul and Chief Immigration Officer Herman Brown, certainly enriched the event.

Yolanda delivered an absolutely stunning evening of music and ministry and our cast of local artistes made us very proud with their majestic performance. To God be the glory.
